What is Pay Per Click Advertising?
PPC Advertising are ads that appear on large search engines like google.com. When you type in a keyword term you get a list of results, both PPC and normal results. If you click on the ad, the company/business owner has to pay google for your click. The higher up the ad is on the page, the larger the ‘bid’ for the advertising.

So if you go to google.com, and type in Nike Shoes, on the right hand side of the screen the PPC ads will be displayed. Below is an add, for a company named Zappos who sells shoes.
